When a door does not close the way it should, you generally ignore it. At least that is what we tent to do. Until the key literally breaks of and you know this door will never close the way it should again. Time for an old fashioned eBay search for items that are way too overpriced for our budget. And of course it only took 10 minutes to find new locks and a cool Fulton Sun Visor we just had to have. The locks had priority and were bought right away. They have been sitting in our kitchen table for at least 2 weeks now. Makes me wonder. Was this really a priority?
The visor would be at the Techno Classic in Essen so we made a fun day of it. For those ever tempted to visit this fair; don't go! Or only go if you really love porches and Mercedes. But anyway, the visor turned out to be beaten and ripped and not worth the almost 500 euro they were asking for it.
Back to eBay it was. Where we found a perfect piece. Right now we are counting the days until delivery. And who knows how long this will take.
